Where it began
EZC started as the “Emoji Zodiac Computer”, inspired by Andrew Gibson’s work with autistic children. One child particularly enjoyed finding the twelve Chinese Zodiac animals, collecting them, then printing and arranging them into colourful displays.
The project grew into EZC: Emoji Composer—a broader workspace for educators, families, creators and visual thinkers who need flexible resources without a complicated design process.
About the creator

Andrew Gibson created EZC from his experience in education and digital publishing. His work has included one-to-one support for autistic children, independent publishing and audiobook narration.
He believes useful creative tools should feel direct, adaptable and enjoyable—and that printing an emoji should never require wrestling with professional design software.
